This special Peru Projects Fund was created to ensure that essential projects in Peru endure for many years to come through sustained donor support.
With a minimum gift of $1,000 you can be part of this exciting new development.

  
         
  How It Works    
 
  • Gifts to the Peru Projects Fund will be held, capital untouched, based on the restrictions imposed by the Board of Directors.  In the short term, only income from the Fund will be used to support projects in Peru.
  • Income from the Fund will support Education, Health, Well-being and Nutrition primarily for the people of the Zaña Valley in northern Peru.

  • These projects are for training through a variety of educational opportunities such as bursaries and scholarships, leadership programs or practical skills training leading to self-sufficiency through income generation and/or employment.

  • Projects that receive support from the Peru Project Fund will be identified in collaboration with our Peruvian partners. The Heart-Links Board will approve the use of funds.

  • The amount spent each year will be limited to the interest earned. The Board of Directors will restrict the use of the capital funds for a number of years, based on Heart-Links’s long-term sustainability plans.
