Volunteer Your Time
We are always eager to make presentations about Heart-Links and our projects in Peru.
Heart-Links relies on a team of dedicated volunteers who give freely of their time, skills and experience. We welcome the opportunity to work with elementary and high schools to raise student awareness of international development issues through informative presentations, fundraising activities and/or student community service opportunities. Students wishing to meet their community service hours or co-op placement requirements are encouraged to apply. If you wish to volunteer with Heart-Links there are many ways in which to do so:
- Join a committee
- Assist with a fixed-time initiative
- Help out with day-to-day operations
- Adopt Heart-Links for a fundraising or public engagement initiative

Donate here to make a one-time donation or update your Aeroplan profile so that 2% of all the new miles you earn go straight to Heart-Links!
Gift of Securities
You can enjoy significant tax savings when you make a donation of appreciated securities in the form of an “in-kind” transfer. For tax purposes, Heart-Links will issue a charitable receipt for the fair market value of the securities. Fair market value is the closing price of the securities on the day the gift is received by Heart-Links. To make a Gift of Securities, contact Trina Emery at Scotia McLeod (519 660 3242).
