<p>At<strong> Heart-Links</strong>, we do our best to keep our supporters informed about the amazing work our partners are doing in northern Peru—whether that&#8217;s <a href="https://www.heart-links.org/project/helping-victims-of-el-nino-rebuild/">helping flood victims rebuild</a>, or <a href="https://www.heart-links.org/project/supporting-people-with-developmental-disabilities/">improving the quality of life of persons with developmental disabilities</a> or <a href="https://www.heart-links.org/project/men-for-gender-equity/">working with men to end violence against women</a>. </p>

<p>But it can be hard to keep up with our partners and their <a href="https://www.heart-links.org/projects/">many important initiatives</a>. </p>

<p>That&#8217;s why we’d like to invite you to “like” <a href="https://www.facebook.com/heart.links.london/">Heart-Links’ Facebook page</a>. On our page, you can can learn more about the projects you&#8217;ve helped support and even connect directly with a number of them. You can “like” the work they do and send them good wishes in the comments. Our partners’ pages are in Spanish, of course, but Facebook provides rudimentary translation—and there are always lots of photos.</p>

<ul class="wp-block-gallery aligncenter columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex"><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img decoding="async" src="https://www.heart-links.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/20180702_184646-768x1024.jpg" alt="woman holding handmade doll" data-id="3478" data-link="https://www.heart-links.org/project/womens-empowerment/20180702_184646/" class="wp-image-3478"/></figure></li><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img decoding="async" src="https://www.heart-links.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/acies-1024x485.png" alt="" data-id="3369" data-link="https://www.heart-links.org/partners/acies/acies-3/" class="wp-image-3369"/></figure></li><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img decoding="async" src="https://www.heart-links.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/boy-reading-1024x576.png" alt="" data-id="3384" data-link="https://www.heart-links.org/partners/rural-libraries/boy-reading-2/" class="wp-image-3384"/></figure></li></ul>

<p>Here are some of the partners and projects who have pages on Facebook (go ahead and “like” them too, if you want):</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><a href="https://www.facebook.com/100011725593473">Centro Santa Angela</a> </li><li><a href="https://www.facebook.com/Latidos.asociacion/?ref=br_rs">Latidos</a></li><li><a href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005649962819&amp;ref=br_rs">Madre Oliva Association</a></li><li><a href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1891716514178438&amp;ref=br_rs">Men for Gender Equity</a></li><li><a href="https://www.facebook.com/100007124389014">JLO Leadership School</a></li><li><a href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009572381393">Ecological Action Plan</a> </li></ul>

<p>Facebook is also a great way to spread the word about Heart-Links—the little organization with the big heart—and to spark conversations about community development and solidarity with our brothers and sisters across the world. You can even donate to Heart-Links through Facebook or run a birthday <a href="https://www.facebook.com/fundraisers/">fundraiser</a>, as our treasurer Fraser Macdonald recently did.</p>

<p>We’ve set ourselves the goal of reaching <em><strong>250 Facebook followers</strong></em> by the end of the year. </p>

<p><a href="https://www.facebook.com/heart.links.london/">Help us get there!</a></p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator"/>

<p>For those of you who prefer industry forums and discussions led by experts in the international development field, you might like to follow us on <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/heart-links-lazos-de-coraz%C3%B3n/?viewAsMember=true">LinkedIn</a>. Heart-Links has just launched a page on this platform for jobseekers and professionals. Through LinkedIn we hope to connect with other organizations who are working toward the <a href="https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/">UN Sustainable Development Goals</a> and to take part in wider conversations about the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to international development and global citizenship.</p>

<p>However you choose to stay connected, we are grateful to you for your interest and support.</p>
