Monthly Donation

As a monthly donor, you commit to giving Heart-Links a monthly gift from your chequing account. Your gift is automatically transferred to Heart-Links from your bank account on the 15th or the 30th day of the month (your choice).

Aeroplan Miles

As part of our obligations as a registered charity and of our commitment to our donors, Heart-Links sends regular delegations to monitor the community development projects we support in Peru. Your donation of Aeroplan Miles to Heart-Links will help reduce the cost of our monitoring trips and free up more money for our Peru projects.

Gift of Securities

You can enjoy significant tax savings when you make a donation of appreciated securities in the form of an “in-kind” transfer. For tax purposes, Heart-Links will issue a charitable receipt for the fair market value of the securities. Fair market value is the closing price of the securities on the day the gift is received by Heart-Links. Write to info@heart-links.org for more information.

In Honour

A donation to Heart-Links in honour of a friend or relative is a meaningful way to make a gift. The most common in honour donations are made to recognize occasions such as birthdays, retirements, wedding anniversaries, or other special events that have made a difference in the life of an individual or a family. We will send the individual(s) named a card notifying them of the gift made in their honour. You will be sent a charitable receipt for the gift.

In Memoriam

One way of doing something special to remember and honour a loved one who has passed away is to make a donation to Heart-Links in their memory. We will send a card to the family informing them of your gift and we will send you the charitable receipt. If you would like to direct memorial donations to Heart-Links from a funeral home, please contact us for forms and envelopes.

Bequests

You can include Heart-Links as a beneficiary in your will. A charitable bequest will significantly reduce the amount of tax paid by your estate. Contact your lawyer or financial advisor for further information.
